Business and Storms Don't Mix
The first photo is of a commercial business affected by a storm. The affected carpet was carpet tiles with a rubber padding attached to the carpet tiles, which was placed on top of a concrete sub floor. Due to the rubber padding attached to the tile, it is very time consuming to get the trapped water under the carpet tile and the sub floor to pull through the rubber padding and carpet for proper drying, not to mention properly drying of the sub floor.
In this case the carpet tile was new and could be easily obtained. We removed the wet carpet tiles, disinfected the sub floor, and properly dried the sub floor.
The second photo shows the complete installation of the carpet tiles once the sub floor properly dried.
